I didn't manipulate the sky!
This was taken at about 3am in the dark, with a big long exposure :D

Focussing wasn't TOO difficult, it was getting the composition I wanted that took time

I love all the textures and how there's a bit of a halo effect. I like the way it seems to be floating and how the background compliments the image.

20 seconds? eeeeeeeeeep I'm guessing you definately had your tripod with you then lol =] really nice shot, It looks like its just about to bite me in half though =/. The sky that colour at night is pretty surreal, but I suppose ISO and shutter speed explain that ;)

love the composition and lens distortion-i was going to question the noise but 20sec exposure at f3.5 would explain it....
great shot-industrial machinery is great subject matter, especially at 3am....

I love how it jumps out at you, the idea of taking an ultra-long exposure shot at 3am in the dark was genious.
